Here we are at day one of a new chapter for Ghosts of Oz (No pun intended). GOO Blog launches this week and is the latest growth spurt in GOO’s story. What I love most about GOO and what keeps it alive for me is that we (the GOO team) aren’t afraid of change or a challenge.
From changing GOO members to transitioning from radio to podcast to experimenting with format we haven’t been afraid to stumble around in the dark until we get it right…or at least get it going. I praise my team (Danni, Amanda, Elie, Dan and Peet) who have always enthusiastically joined any stroke of genius or doomed experiment I’ve conjured up.
Where did the blog come from? MORE CONTENT is the answer. There is only so much you can do with a podcast, only so many minutes and, only so many opportunities you can grab on to. While the podcast will remain and I hope a grow the blog has been added as another arm to produce more paranormal content to inform, entertain and celebrate our paranormal community.
The blog will also give opportunity to the rest of the team to really flex their journalistic muscles. The team has been busy working on content for the last couple of months are having had a peak at what is to come I am thrilled to share it is looking GOO’d. What I love most is that each of their voices is emerging and they are following their curiosity which I believe produces the best work.
What else will the blog be doing? Over the coming weeks we will introduce GOO reviews, business profiles and guest bloggers. I can’t be sure where it will end up but I won’t be forcing or limiting its potential.
Shall we jump?
